Biography
Henry Roy Donovan (26 November 1903 – 18 February 1972) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Hawthorn in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
Originally playing with Richmond reserves, Donovan transferred to Hawthorn during the 1925 VFL season and made 9 appearances in two seasons at the club before he was cut from the team.
He married Ellen Mary O'Connor in 1936 and they lived in Ultima, Victoria before returning to live in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
