Daniel N. Butler

Daniel Butler (born 1984) is an American visual effects artist for films.

Butler was born on 19 April 1984, as Daniel Nicholas Butler to Vonda Butler and Patrick Butler, in Chula Vista, California. He is the elder brother of actor, Brian Patrick Butler.

Butler attended Monte Vista High School, California, and graduated in 2002. In the years 2002-2004, he attended Cuyamaca College, El Cajon, California.

Butler is known for his work in the films Friend of the World (post-production,) Graduation Afternoon (2019,) The Phantom Hour (2016), and Fruitful Mold (post-production.)

Also a BTS photographer on production sets and events such as San Diego Film Week, his interest in film began in the late 90s while in high school.

From 2004-2012, he worked as a background actor on location in Los Angeles and San Diego. Projects included numerous music videos such as Weezer: Beverly Hills (2005), TV shows Veronica Mars (2004) and Terriers (2010), and the feature film Bobby Z (2007).

Butler is married to writer and actress, Elena Butler. The couple resides in San Diego, California.
