Introduction
Yan Shunkai (born in E'cheng, Hubei or Shanghai on 6 June 1937) is a Chinese comedian, actor and film director.
Yan enrolled in the Central Academy of Drama in 1959, graduating in 1963.
He won "The Gold Stick Prize" at the Second International Festival of Comedy Films in Switzerland in 1982 for his role in The True Story of Ah Q.
