Introduction

Williams Bugeme (b. 15 February 1985) is a Congolese Entrepreneur and Fashionista.

Early life

Bugeme was born on 15 February 1985, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.

He attended The INSTITUT D'IBANDA (Athénée Royal de Bukavu, Complexe Scolaire la Virunga and the University of ISDR, Bukavu.

After his move to Uganda, he joined Makerere University, where he majored in the English Language. Bugeme also holds a degree in Bachelor in computer Sciences from the Aptech Institute of Computer Science.

Career

Through his numerous work and businesses, he has been able to travel around the world, and also gained recognition all over the Region; as a Fashionista, reputable business man and socialite.

Bugeme is one of the most recognized Fashionistas all over East Africa, winning Awards here in Uganda and abroad.

Recognition and Awards

He is a double awardee for the Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards (Best dressed Male Guest 2013, & Male Fashionista of the year 2015).

He has also been recognized by various Fashion blogs in Uganda, including Fashion Republique and Grace Nafuna blog post as one of the most stylish African men on social media site, Instagram.

In 2016, he was also nominated for the Starqt Awards in South Africa, for the People's choice and Best dressed man categories.

Philanthropist

Bugeme has been involved in numerous charities both in Uganda and his native Democratic Republic of Congo.

Following a charity drive he had organized at the General Hospital of katana, Bukavu, Bugeme was hosted by the town’s Governor, at State House.

Bugeme’s social status has also seen him collaborate with other Ugandan celebrities through their charity foundations, and availed aid to many of the needy communities in Uganda.

In 2015, he worked alongside the Zari Tlale Charity Foundation and held a charity drive to orphanages in Eastern Uganda.

In the same year, he collaborated with the Abryanz Charity foundation and donated scholastic and other essential needs to the Sanyu Babies Home.
