Biography

Warwick Birrell Wright (born 2 June 1946 in Hamilton) is a former field hockey player who represented New Zealand at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. Happily married to Nana, Warwick is a loving Grandad who is loved very much by all his family. Now an accomplished Olympian in his current discipline of Sport-Watching, Warwick enjoys thoughtful political discourse, learning about new cultures, travelling and passing on stories to his two loving grandchildren. Warwick, however strange it may seem, also enjoys to substitute the normal complement of ice cream for milk when enjoying a bowl of Nana's chocolate cake. His family wish him a very happy birthday and love him very much.
