Valentina Vasilievna Karnaukhova (Russian: Валентина Васильевна Карнаухова, born November 11, 2001, Rostov-on-Don, Russia), better known as Karna.val (Russian: Валя Карнавал) is a Russian video blogger, tiktoker, and singer.
In October 2020 the Russian magazine Forbes ranked her 5th in their first ever list of the highest paid Russian TikTokers. At the end of this year, Valya Karnaval took 6th place in the list of "top artists" of the Russian-language segment of TikTok musicians whose songs were most often used by users in their videos. In addition, her song "Psycho" was ranked 9th on the list of "TikTok's hits" the most used tracks in 2020.
Early years
Born on November 11, 2001 in Rostov-on-Don
She was involved in athletics but left the sport for health reasons. In addition, she was dancing.
Up to 15 years lived in the village of Novobataysk, Rostov Oblast. The house was heated by a simple stove. As Valya herself says, at school, classmates poisoned her, laughing at the poverty of the family.
After graduating from the 9th grade of school No. 9 Novobataysk, entered the Rostov College of Advertising, Service and Tourism.
I ended up dropping out due to missing classes. (according to the Russian edition of Forbes magazine, Valya also entered another local college, but also dropped out).
At the age of 17 signed up now TikTok, where she specialized in humorous videos, gaining 350 thousand subscribers in the first year.
Now lives in Moscow.
Often shoots joint videos with Yulia Gavrilina.
Since 2020 she has been a member of the Tiktoker association (tiktoker house) Hype House.
In the summer of 2020 she began her musical career, presenting to the public his debut single "Psycho" (Russian: Психушка). The premiere of the video for the song took place in September of the same year.
