Introduction
Rachell Hofstetter (born January 8, 1992), better known by her alias Valkyrae, is an American video-game streamer. She currently streams and posts videos on YouTube, spending the most time playing Fortnite.
Biography
Valkyrae was born in Washington. While attending community college, she worked at a GameStop. Valkyrae began a gaming channel on Instagram, and soon transitioned to Twitch. After gathering a following, she began posting gaming videos on YouTube. She is the first female gamer and content creator for 100Thieves, a competitive American esports team. Valkyrae is an advocate for women in online gaming, sometimes playing games on all-female teams.

In the 2018 Fortnite Pro-Am competition, Valkyrae teamed up with celebrity music producer Murda Beatz. In the 2019 Pro-Am Valkyrae teamed up with Los Angeles Chargers player Justin Jones.
