Tracey Magee (born 1969) is a Northern Irish broadcaster and journalist, currently the Deputy Political Editor at UTV.
Early life and education
Magee was born on 27 Match 1969, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
She attended Queen's University in Belfast and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, in 1990.
Career
Magee joined UTV in April 1997 and has been with UTV since. Besides reporting, she has also presented news bulletins and feature programs on UTV.
Personal life
Magee is married and lives in Belfast with her husband, Ian, and a son, Jack. Ian is a video editor and the two met while working at UTV. Jack was born when Magee was 40.
In 2007, Ian and Magee opened a bistro named Courtney's in Belfast city centre.
