Sherry Ibrahim

Syarizad Binti Haji Ibrahim (born 3 April 1983), better known by her stage name Sherry Ibrahim, is a Malaysian actress, model and TV host. She was born in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In 2013, She plays the lead character, Iffa in the best selling Malaysian novel, Teduhan Kasih along with Adi Putra, Nabila Huda and Shah Iskandar.

Sherry was born and raised in Petaling Jaya to Ibrahim Yaacob and Norliza Maamun. She is the first of three children. Her second sister named Natasya Ibrahim and a younger sister named Syafinaz Ibrahim. As a student, Sherry attended St. Mary's Girls' School, Kuala Lumpur. In 2001 she worked as a flight stewardess in the national airlines, Malaysia Airlines. She quit flying when her contract ended in 2006. She debuted in a TV series in TV3, Dunia Baru, under director M. Hitler Zami, thus paving a start to her acting career. She was fast becoming a household name through her stints in acting, hosting and commercials. An opportunity to join an international airline, Qatar Airways based in Doha, Qatar came up in 2010. The temptation to once again roam the world as a flight stewardess makes her leave her blooming career in showbiz.

Sherry was romantically linked to the Malaysian actor and model, Ashraf Muslim in the past, but called it quits in early 2009 when it proved too difficult to balance their relationship. In 2011, Ashraf Muslim tied the knot with Dayana Lokman.

In October 2014, it was reported that she is having a relationship with a 24 y/o Malaysian actor and model, Fattah Amin. The couple met last June during the drama series of Cinta Ibadah. They have gotten close since the end of series of the drama filming and also the photos that they have shared in Instagram. With the 7-year age gap between them, it doesn't prevent anything for them to stop loving each other. Sherry has said that The question of love and feelings doesn't measure with age. She said that he was befit for her and she is impressed by his maturity at his age that made her with an open heart to accept to have a relationship.

2012 - Comeback Kid

After missing in action from the showbiz world for a few years, she made a comeback in 2012 when her contract with Qatar Airways ended. She was offered a small role in drama series 'Setia Hujung Nyawa' from episode 16 onwards at TV3 Malaysia. As the drama rakes in very high rating, it proves that Sherry was never forgotten and her talent was more apparent. Sherry was then offered one of the lead role alongside Adi Putra, Nabila Huda and Shah Iskandar in another hit drama, Teduhan Kasih. Sherry is now managed by Afeeq of Laugh Out Loud Entertainment Sdn. Bhd.. Artist under the management of Laugh Out Loud Entertainment Sdn. Bhd. includes well known celebrities such as Rozita Che Wan and Dafi Ismail Sabri. In June 2013, Sherry was appointed as Ambassador for Hairkunst, Malaysia by its director Bambang Soteto who was proclaimed as Schwarzkopf Ambassador/ Trend Trainer for Malaysia 2010/2011.
