Ron Estes

Ron Estes is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Kansas's 4th congressional district since April 25, 2017. He is a member of the Republican Party.

Ron Estes was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. He attended a local high school before going on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Tennessee Technological University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas.

Ron Estes began his political career by serving as the Kansas State Treasurer from 2011 to 2017. In 2017, he won a special election to fill the U.S. House seat vacated by Mike Pompeo, who became the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Estes has since been serving as the U.S. Representative for Kansas's 4th congressional district.

Ron Estes is a conservative Republican and has been a staunch supporter of limited government, lower taxes, and fiscal responsibility. He has also been a vocal advocate for strengthening national security and protecting the Second Amendment rights of citizens.

Currently, Ron Estes serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means, the Subcommittee on Social Security, and the Subcommittee on Oversight. These committees and subcommittees are responsible for issues related to taxation, healthcare, and other economic matters.
