Ravi Basrur

Ravi Basrur is an Indian film composer and director who made his debut in the film industry in 2014 by scoring the Kannada film Ugramm. Following his debut, Basrur composed musicfor films such as Ekka Saka (2015), Just Maduveli (2015), and Karvva (2016). His scores have been very well received.

Basrur's first release as a music director was Ugramm (2014), for which he won the Zee Music Award and the KIMA International Award for Best Background Score for Ugramm (2014)He was also nominated for Filmfare Awards South for Best Music Director for this film.

Basrur directed the films Gargar Mandala(2014) and Bilinder (2016) in local languages; both films were appreciated by locals.
