Pacheta

Juan José Rojo Martín (born 23 March 1968), known as Pacheta, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a midfielder, and the current manager of Thai club Ratchaburi Mitr Phol FC.

He amassed La Liga totals of 183 games and 15 goals over the course of eight seasons, representing in the competition Real Burgos, Espanyol and Numancia. He added 112/17 in Segunda División.

In 2009, Pacheta became a manager.

Born in Salas de los Infantes, Burgos, Castile and León, Pacheta made his debuts as a senior with local Racing Lermeño in 1987. In 1989, he moved to CD Numancia in Segunda División B, and a year later joined La Liga club Real Burgos CF.

After failing to appear with Burgos during the 1990–91 season, Pacheta signed for CA Marbella in the third level, being promoted in his debut campaign. On 6 September 1992, he played his first match as a professional, starting in a 1–1 home draw against CD Castellón for the Segunda División championship.

In June 1994, after a short spell at CP Mérida, Pacheta joined RCD Espanyol in the top division. He made his debut in the competition on 17 September 1994, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 0–0 home draw against FC Barcelona; his first goal came on 16 April of the following year, in a 3–1 home success over Athletic Bilbao.

In 1999, after spending several seasons with the Catalans, Pacheta signed for fellow league team Numancia. He retired in 2004 at the age of 36, joining the club's staff shortly after.

In June 2007, Pacheta was appointed Numancia's director of football, switching to first-team manager on 17 February 2009 as a replacement for fired Sergije Krešić. He remained in charge for the following 15 matches, as the Soria side was eventually relegated from the top flight.

On 15 February 2011, Pacheta signed for Real Oviedo in division three, leading the club to the eighth place and renewing his contract for a further year in May. On 24 May 2012 he resigned, and joined FC Cartagena on 10 December.

On 20 May 2013, Pacheta was relieved from his duties despite earning runner-up honours in the league with the Murcians, albeit without promotion to the second tier. In August he moved abroad, being appointed at Ekstraklasa side Korona Kielce.

In June 2014, Pacheta left the Polish team and joined Hércules CF shortly after. On 25 January of the following year, he was sacked after only managing to win three out of 12 home games.
