Nishant Dev

Nishant Dev (born 23 December 2000) is an Indian amateur boxer. He won bronze medal in the 71 kg category at the IBA Men's World Boxing Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Nishant took up boxing in 2012, inspired by his uncle, who was a professional boxer. He used to train under coach Surendra Chauhan at the Karan Stadium. Nishant's father used to wake him up at 4 in the morning and accompany him to training and did the same in the evening to ensure that his son was trained well.
