Biography
Moira Johanna von Wright (born 23 December 1957 in Helsinki) is a Finnish and Swedish academic. She was appointed in 2010 by the government of Sweden as Rector of Södertörn University College.
Until her appointment as Rector at Södertörn, she was Professor of Pedagogy (from 2007) and Pro-Rector (from 2008) of Örebro University. She has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Oslo for two years and a visiting fellow at Cambridge University
She belongs to the noble von Wright family.
