Introduction

Michael "Mike" Owens Craig is an American lawyer and judge based in Louisiana. 

Education

Craig earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University, Shreveport, in 1991. In 1995, he received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Career

Craig was admitted to the bar in 1996. He initially worked as an assistant Bossier-Webster Parish district attorney from 2005 until 2008. On October 4, 2008, he was elected to the position of judge of the 26th District Court, Division A in Louisiana. He was sworn into office on January 5, 2009, by retired Judge Cecil Campbell II.

In 2014, he was re-elected for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.
