

Introduction
Matthew O'Hanlon (born 28 October 1991 in New Ross, County Wexford) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling and Gaelic football with his local club St. James's and has been a member of the Wexford senior inter-county hurling team since 2011.

O'Hanlon plays his club hurling and football with the St. James's club in Ramsgrange.
Inter-county
O'Hanlon has lined out in all grades for Wexford, football and hurling, beginning as a member of the county's minor hurling team in 2008 and the minor football team in 2009. His two years on the minor hurling team saw Wexford lose back-to-back Leinster finals to Kilkenny. O'Hanlon subsequently joined the Wexford under-21 hurling team.
O'Hanlon was only nineteen years-old when made his senior debut in a National Hurling League game against Galway in 2011. Later that year he made his senior championship debut against Antrim.
