Introduction
Mark Fenton (November 11, 1866 – July 29, 1925) was an American actor of the silent film era.
Fenton had a sturdy theatrical and Broadway career behind him before coming to silent pictures. His early stage experience came in Charles Frohman's productions. His Broadway credits included Francesca da Rimini (1901), Twelfth Night (1900), Mary Stuart (1900), Marie Antoinette (1900), The Ladies' Battle (1900), Macbeth (1900), and Much Ado About Nothing (1900).
He appeared in 80 films between 1915 and 1925. Fenton was born in Crestline, Ohio and died after surgery following an automobile accident in Los Angeles, California.
