Lee Reyes (born 2 February 1978) is an American actor and martial artist known for his roles in American Ninja 5 (1993), The Shield (2002), and Money Fight (2012).
Early life
Lee Reyes was born Lee Ernest Reyes on 2 February 1978 in Santa Clara, California, to Ernie Reyes Sr., also an actor and taekwondo practitioner. He is the younger brother of actor Ernie Reyes, Jr. (born 1972).
Career
Martial arts
Reyes is one of the leading experts in various styles of martial arts, specifically taekwondo, which he was taught by Billy Blanks. He trained in boxing with martial artist Jeff Langton, also an actor, and he learned Muay Thai from Saekson Janjira.
Acting
Reyes made his acting debut in 1992, playing "Tommy" in the episode "The Death of Sheila" of Frank Lupo's TV series Raven. The following year, he starred as "Hiro" in Bob Bralver's American Ninja 5, opposite David Bradley and Anne Dupont.
In 2001, Reyes was seen in the role of "Alex" in Cleve Nettles-directed TV movie Secret of the Horse alongside Chinese actor George Cheung and his brother Ernie Reyes Jr.
Reyes's last screen appearance was in the character of "Pablo" in Adam BosterKenneth Chamitoff's 2012 action film Money Fight, starring Maria Conchita Alonso, Ving Rhames, and John Savage.
