Introduction

Kayden Jackson (born 22 February 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays for Grimsby Town, on loan from Barnsley, as a striker.

Career

Born in Bradford, Jackson signed for Swindon Town after winning their 'Win a Pro Contract' competition. He joined Swindon Supermarine on loan in August 2013; the deal was extended in September 2013 after he scored five goals in seven games for the club. Later that season he also spent a loan spell at Oxford City. After leaving Swindon he played for Tamworth and Wrexham. After rejecting a new contract at Wrexham in May 2016, he signed for Barnsley later that month. He signed on loan for Grimsby Town in July 2016. He scored on his debut for the club in a 2-0 win over Morecambe on 6 August 2016.
