Introduction

Joshua John (born 1 October 1988 in Alkmaar) is a Dutch-Aruban footballer who plays as a forward for Bursaspor.

Club career

Joshua John came through the youth departments of SV Koedijk, Ajax, RKC Waalwijk and Sparta Rotterdam. He made his professional debut 2007–08 season in the league match against FC Groningen in September 2007, coming on as a substitute for Sjaak Polak.

His parents are from Aruba

On 11 August 2012, Joshua John scored 4 goals in a 6-1 win against Silkeborg IF.

He also scored a goal against Chelsea Football Club at Stamford Bridge, when FC Nordsjælland were beaten 6-1, on 5 December 2012.

On 2 September 2013, he signed a contract for 3 ½ years with the Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjælland.

On 29 April 2014, the Aruban FA confirmed that John was "an Aruban Professional Footballer", suggesting that he would be available for the Aruban National team
