Jon Jansen

Jon Jansen is a former American football offensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 10 seasons. He played college football for the University of Michigan, where he was a two-time All-American. Jansen played his entire NFL career with the Washington Redskins and also spent one season with the Detroit Lions.

Jon Jansen was a standout player during his college career at the University of Michigan. He was a two-time All-American and was named the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1998. Jansen was known for his strong blocking and consistency on the field, which helped him become one of the top offensive linemen in the country.

Jon Jansen played in the NFL for a total of 10 seasons. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the second round of the 1999 NFL Draft and played for the team until 2008. Jansen then played one season for the Detroit Lions in 2009 before retiring from professional football.

Additionally, Jansen co-hosts a radio show called "The Big Show" on 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit. He is also actively involved in charitable endeavors and community service.
