Biography
Introduction
John Findlay, also known as Jack Findlay or Jock Findlay, was a Scottish professional football right half who played in the Scottish League for Vale of Leven and Airdrieonians. He also appeared in the Football League for Newcastle United.
Personal life
Findlay served as a private in the Scots Guards during the First World War and was killed in France on 25 September 1916. He was buried in Bienvillers Military Cemetery.
