Introduction

Lin Jingyu (林景瑜) is an expert in the field of light emitting diodes (LEDs) who co-invented the microLED.

Education

She earned her B.S. in physics from SUNY at Oneonta in 1983 and her M.S. and Ph.D in physics from Syracuse University in 1985 and 1989.

Career

From 1992 to 2008 she was a professor at Kansas State University. Since 2008, she has been a professor at Texas Tech University.
