Jack Rowe

Jack S. Rowe is an American healthcare executive who has served as the CEO of Aetna, Inc. and the Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Rowe trained at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, earned a degree in public health at Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, and earned his master's degree at the University of California, Berkeley.

During Rowe's tenure as CEO of Aetna from 2000 to 2006, he focused on shifting the company's focus to improving the overall health and well-being of its members. He introduced various initiatives to promote preventive care and disease management, and helped Aetna become a industry leader in electronic health records.

Rowe served as the CEO and President of the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He played a key role in expanding the organization's clinical programs and research capabilities, as well as improving patient care and safety.

Rowe has served on various boards and advisory committees, including the Institute of Medicine, the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, and the World Economic Forum's Health Governors. He has also been a professor at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
