Ivan Aleksandrovich Vyrypaev (Russian: Ива́н Алекса́ндрович Вырыпа́ев; born August 3, 1974) is a Russian playwright, screenwriter, film director, actor and art director. He is a leading figure in the Russian New Drama movement.
On August 25, 2017, Ivan Vyrypayev addressed an Open Letter in support of Kirill Serebrennikov. In this letter, he called on all figures of Russian culture to deny any support to Vladimir Putin.
