Biography
Hasan Basry (17 June 1923 - 15 July 1984) was a military general, Indonesian nationalist, and National Hero of Indonesia. He acted as military governor of Kalimantan to oppose Linggadjati Agreement, as well as key figure behind 17 Mei 1949 Kalimantan Proclamation.
