Biography
Fred Brown (30 January 1896 – 18 December 1971) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Hawthorn in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
After playing with Caulfield Football Club, Brown joined Hawthorn at the start of the 1922 VFA season and he played in Hawthorn's first two seasons in the VFL.
