Introduction

Filippo Sugar is an Italian entrepreneur, and he is the president of SIAE, an Italian money collecting company since March 2015.

His predecessor, Gino Paoli, had to resign after being investigated for tax evasion, and so SIAE elected Filippo Sugar as new president.

The new SIAE president said that SIAE isn't meant for grant equal rights for everyone, he is also the owner of the music label Sugar Music Spa.

Filippo Sugar is currently facing a COI, a conflict of interest, because he is the president of SIAE and the CEO of Sugar Music at the same time.
