Biography

Edwin William Carr, Jr. (born 2 September 1928) is an Australian athlete. He was a Gold medallist in the 440 yards and 4 x 440 yard relay at the 1950 British Empire Games and also competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. In 2000, a portrait of him was hung in the Archibald Prize painted by Ann Morton.
