Edith Halstead later Edwin Halstead (1907-1962), was an English athlete who competed for England.

Athletics career

Halstead won a silver medal in the javelin at the 1934 British Empire Games in London.

Personal life

Edith Halstead was later sexually reassigned and took the name Edwin "Eddie" Halstead. When Halstead competed at the Games her sister Nellie Halstead won three medals.
