Ed Roth

Ed Roth, also known as Big Daddy Roth, was an American artist, cartoonist, and custom car designer. He was best known for creating the hot rod icon Rat Fink and for his customized cars, which were featured in various magazines and movies.

Ed Roth was born on March 4, 1932.

Rat Fink is a green, depraved-looking mouse character created by Ed Roth. The character embodies the concept of the "anti-Mickey Mouse" and became a popular icon and symbol of the hot rod and Kustom Kulture movement.

Some of Ed Roth's notable creations include the custom cars Beatnik Bandit, Outlaw, Mysterion, and Road Agent. He also designed and created various custom motorcycles, dragsters, and hot rods, many of which have become legendary in the automotive world.

Ed Roth passed away on April 4, 2001, at the age of 69.
