Introduction
Devkinandan Thakur is a Hindu puranic narrator, singer, a politician and a spiritual guru. He initiated his puranic story telling, bhagwat geeta speaking from 2001 in Varindavan. He has won UP Ratan Award in 2015.
Other Than Spirituality
He protested for not fulfilling the promise made by Bharatiya Janata Party before 2014 Lok Sabha elections for establishing Ayodhya Ram Mandir.He also spoke against the government of India the application of SC/ST reservation act, for which he was even jailed in Agra. He supported a political party naming "Sarva Samaj Kalyan Party". He even claimed to have death threat for revolting against SC/ST Act.
