

Deri Lorus is an Indian music producer and sound engineer prominently recognized for his contributions to the Tamil Gospel music industry.
Early Life
Hailing from Chennai, India, Deri Lorus embarked on his musical journey at the age of 13, initiating piano keyboard lessons. Collaborating with his brother, Dan Emil Joshua, he ventured into keyboard and guitar playing. At 15, Lorus performed at church programs and Christian events, showcasing his talents on guitars and keyboards for the St. John's Matriculation Higher Secondary School Alwathirunagar band. In 2019, he pursued Sound Engineering at the School of Audio Engineering (SAE), drawing inspiration from established musicians in Chennai and honing his skills through extensive jamming sessions. Together with his brother, Lorus established the record label D Flat Records, later expanding his endeavors by founding multiple record companies, while cementing his dedication to a career in music.
Career
Lorus commenced his career as a composer in 2014, unveiling "Puthiya Kaariyam" as the maiden release under D Flat Records. His production repertoire extended to working with artists across Chennai and India. Additionally, he founded the indie record label Noizbloc, which garnered a partnership with Sony Music Entertainment India.
Personal Life
Deri Lorus exhibited a remarkable aptitude for balancing academics and music, graduating high school in 2018. Subsequently, he pursued Sound Engineering at the School of Audio Engineering (SAE) in Australia and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at SRM University, Kattankulathur.
