Deepak Dhawan ( ਦੀਪਕ ਧਵਨ / दीपक धवन ) was the General secretary of Punjab (India) unit of Communist Party of India (Marxist). On 19 May 1987, he was killed by the Khalistan movement extremists at village Sangha, Tarn Taran district.
