David Legates

David Legates is an American climatologist and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Environmental Observation and Prediction. He is known for his skepticism of climate change and his endorsement of the idea that global warming is not caused by human activity.

Legates holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Geography, as well as a Master of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences. He also has a Ph.D. in Climatology from the University of Delaware.
