Introduction
D'Andre T. Swift (born January 14, 1999) is an American football running back for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Early years
Swift attended Saint Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a senior, he rushed for 1,564 yards on 149 carries with 25 touchdowns. He committed to the University of Georgia to play college football.
College career
As a freshman at Georgia in 2017, Swift was the third running back behind future NFL starters Nick Chubb and Sony Michel. On 73 carries, he rushed for 597 yards with three touchdowns.
His sophomore year, Swift split carries fairly evenly with junior Elijah Holyfield, though he was used more often as a receiver. He had three consecutive games with over 100 yards rushing in games 8-10 that season, culminating in a career-best 186 yards rushing on 17 carries (including a 77-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter) and four receptions for 43 yards.
