Introduction
Clément Chantôme (born 11 September 1987) is a French professional footballer who plays for Stade Rennais in Ligue 1 as a central midfielder.
Career
In the past, Arsenal have been said to be interested in securing the youngster's services.
After making just 20 starts at PSG in the 2012–13 season, Chantôme joined Toulouse on loan until the end of the 2013–14 Ligue 1 season on 21 August 2013, and was assigned the number 6 shirt.
In January 2015, Chantôme left Paris after 15 years with the club, signing an 18-month contract with Bordeaux.
In June 2016, after having a difficult season with Bordeaux, Chantôme signed with Rennes on a three-year deal.
International career
In 2008, he was a member of the France U-21 side. Chantôme earned his first cap for the senior national football team of his country on 12 October 2012, after coming on as a substitute in the 0–1 loss against Japan in a friendly match.
