Ciaran McKenna (born 25 March 1998) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender for HamiltonAcademical.
Early life
McKenna was born in Glasgow, Scotland and spent time growing up in the Celtic Academy before turning down the offer of a three-year deal with the club to instead accept the offer of a scholarship with Duke University.
Club career
Early Career
In three years with the Duke Blue Devils, he made 42 appearances, scoring twice. McKenna spent time in 2017 playing for Jacksonville Armada U-23 in the National Premier Soccer League.

Personal life
Between 14th November 2015 and 27th January 2016, McKenna was accused of rape by a fellow student at Duke University. Duke University then issued a six-semester suspension but this was overturned by legal action.
