Introduction

Christopher C. Pappas (born June 4, 1980) is an American small businessman and politician currently serving on the New Hampshire Executive Council, to which he was first elected in 2012. A member of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, he represents District 4 on the council, which includes the city of Manchester along with parts of Hillsborough, Merrimack, Rockingham, and Strafford Counties.
Pappas is co-owner of the Puritan Backroom restaurant in Manchester, well-known within the state as a frequent stop for presidential candidates during the New Hampshire primary.

In 1996 as a high school student, Pappas met then-State Senator Jeanne Shaheen, who was running for Governor at the time. He is currently running for reelection to the Executive Council.
