Chris Donovan (born August 26, 1985) is a former American ice hockey player. He played for the Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL.

Donovan was born on August 26, 1985, in Fairfax Station, Virginia. He attended Northeastern University where he played four years of NCAA Division I college hockey with the Northeastern Huskies men's ice hockey team. On August 23, 2010, the Utah Grizzlies signed Donovan to a professional contract for the 2010–11 ECHL season, and, on August 3, 2011, the Grizzlies announced that he had been re-signed to play for the 2011–12 ECHL season.

He announced his retirement from professional hockey in May 2013. "I'm just not having fun out there anymore," Donovan stated in a press conference.

Donovan is currently pursuing a career in technology sales. He is known for wearing his Utah Grizzlies jersey to work on Fridays.
