Introduction
Cecil Vard (c. 1923 - 1 August 1987) was an Irish racing and rally driver from Dún Laoghaire.
Career
A furrier by trade, Vard finished third in the Monte Carlo Rally of 1951, having the best result as far by a driver from the Irish republic.
In 1955, he raced the 1955 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Frazer Nash but his engine failed after just 34 laps.
