Introduction

Ceara Conway (born 1977) is an Irish artist and singer based in Galway, Ireland.

Early life

Ceara Conway is from the Connemara Gaeltacht region in County Galway, in the west of Ireland. Conway has a BA in Glass and Architectural Glass from Edinburgh College of Art and studied Community Arts Education at NCAD and Glass & Photography at Alfred University, New York.

Career

After graduating, Ceara Conway has pursued a career as a visual and performance artist. Her work encompasses a variety of media including sculpture, photography, performance and song. She has completed a number of commissions, residencies and public artworks.
