Introduction

Bridget Christina McEvilly, CBE (born 1946) is a Colonel Commandant of the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps (QARANC).

Background

Born in Middlesex, McEvilly was initially commissioned to the QARANC in 1977, having previously been a nurse in hospitals in, among other places, Canada, London and the Falkland Islands.

Career

She was later a nursing administrator at the Ministry of Defence. Colonel McEvilly was later named as Assistant Director Army Nursing Services.

Awards

In the 2002 New Year's Honours List, Colonel McEvilly was named CBE.
