Brian Dillon

Sir George Brian Hugh Dillon (2 October 1925 – 22 June 2003), usually known as Brian Dillon, was a British judge who sat on the Court of Appeal.
He studied at Winchester College at New College, Oxford.
He served briefly in World War II from 1943 aboard the destroyer HMS Tyrian, in the Far East.
He was called to the bar by Lincoln's Inn in 1948. He took silk in 1965, and was appointed a judge of the Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice in 1979. He was promoted to the Court of Appeal in 1982, when he also became a member of the Privy Council, and retired in 1994.
