Bobby Brazier

Bobby Jack Brazier (born 2 June 2003) is an English actor and model. In 2020, he made his catwalk debut at Milan Fashion Week. In 2022, he rose to prominence after joining the cast of the BBC One soap opera EastEnders as Freddie Slater, for which he received a National Television Award. He reached the final of the 21st series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2023, finishing as a runner-up.

Brazier was born on 2 June 2003 at Portland Hospital in Westminster, London. He is the son of Jeff Brazier, a television presenter, and Jade Goody, a television personality who was known for appearing on the reality series Big Brother. He is of English heritage on his father's side, while his mother was of Jamaican and English heritage. He was raised in Harlow, Essex, with his younger brother Freddie. Their mother died on 22 March 2009 from cervical cancer. Brazier and his brother did not attend Goody's funeral because of the high media attention.

Brazier was in the spotlight from birth due to his mother starring in her own Sky Living reality series from 2004 until her death in 2009; he and his brother appeared in the occasional episode. After their mother's death, both of them were kept out of the spotlight following the high media presence whilst Goody was alive and during the final months of her life.

Brazier began his modelling career in 2019 at the age of 16 after he was scouted by Cesar Perin whilst walking down the street, and signed to his modelling agency Unsigned Group. He also worked at a milkshake café and began an apprenticeship after leaving school. In January 2020, Brazier made his catwalk debut, modelling for Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week. He subsequently modelled at London Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week, for magazines including Schön!, MMScene, Odda and Man About Town as well as for Tommy Hilfiger.

In September 2022, Brazier appeared on screen for the first time in the cast of the BBC One soap opera EastEnders, taking over the role of Freddie Slater, the son of established character Little Mo Mitchell (Kacey Ainsworth), after the character has last been seen as a baby. He won the award for Rising Star at the 28th National Television Awards for his role on the show, and also received nominations for Best Newcomer and Best Comic Performance at the 2023 Inside Soap Awards.

In August 2023, it was announced that Brazier would compete in the 21st series of Strictly Come Dancing. Together with his dancing partner Dianne Buswell, they made it to the final and finished as runners-up.

Brazier was in an 18-month-long relationship with influencer and model Liberty Love, daughter of DJ Don Letts. He confirmed their split in September 2023.
