Introduction
Benild Joseph (born 15 May 1992) is an Indian white hat hacker, TEDx Speaker and cyber security researcher. He is currently the President of Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), India Chapter. and Advisory Board Member of Cybersecurity Ventures.
He has been featured in the book Hacking the Hacker authored by Roger Grimes. Silicon India Magazine has listed him as one of the top 8 Ethical Hackers of India.
Early life
Benild Joseph was born in Wayanad, Kerala and studied in Infant Jesus English Medium School. His interest in technology prompted his mother to send him to a computer institute where he later learnt programming, coding. His penchant towards technology led him to hacking.
Career
He is working with eBay, Tesco, Citigroup, law enforcement agencies and government organizations in India, by helping them in dealing with cyber threats and in safeguarding digital assets.
