Ben Gluck

Benjamin "Ben" Gluck is an American screenwriter, director, storyboard artist, and illustrator. He started his career in the early 1990s, working as a story board artist on Dinosaur, Emperor’s New Groove, and Home on the Range. He then started working as an artistic supervisor, serving as Head of Story on Bambi II and then director of Brother Bear 2.

Ben has worked with George Lucas to develop a feature-length animation project and Tyler Perry to transform the Madea franchise into an animated film brand. He was Head of Story on 9, executive produced by Tim Burton, and co-directed, Alpha and Omega.

Ben studied at California Institute of the Arts, in the character animation department, where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. While at Calarts, his student short film, Man’s Best Friend, garnered awards and accolades in the American and International Film circuit and premiered nationwide on MTV's Cartoon Sushi network show. This short film garnered Ben a full tuition scholarship from the Walt Disney Company and won the prestigious Walter Lantz Honorary student Academy Award. This led to Ben being selected for the very first internship at Dreamworks Animation.
