Introduction
Benjamin Jack Garratt (born 25 April 1994) is an English professional football goalkeeper who plays for League Two side Crewe Alexandra.
Playing career
Born in Market Drayton, Shropshire, Garratt joined Northern Premier League side Stafford Rangers on loan in February 2013. He made his senior debut for Crewe Alexandra on 27 April 2013, in a League One tie against Walsall, two days after his 19th birthday.
On 6 May 2014, Garratt signed a new two-year deal with Crewe Alexandra; he was named as Breakthrough Player of the Year at the club's annual awards and was third in the Players' Player vote.
In January 2015 he was nominated for December League One Player of the Month Award for his impressive performances.
In May 2015, he was awarded the Players' Player of the Year and Player of the Year awards at the club's end of season awards dinner.
In March 2017, Garratt signed a new two-year deal to stay at Crewe until the summer of 2019.
