Introduction

Bashir Abdi (born 10 February 1989 in Mogadishu) is a Somalian-Belgian athlete who specialises in cross-country and middle and long-distance track running. He entered the 10,000m 2014 European athletics championships with the European leading time set on the 4th of May. In May 2015 Abdi qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
