Introduction

André Negrão (born 17 June 1992 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian racing driver.

Career

Formula Renault

Negrão began his car racing career by driving in the Formula Junior FR2.0 Portugal Winter Series with Epsilon Sport in 2008. He finished third in the standings with one podium position and twenty points. In the WEC, he was a guest driver at Magny-Cours and Barcelona.

The following season, Negrão competed in both the Formula Renault 2.0 Italy and LO Formula Renault 2.0 Suisse championships for Cram Competition. He finished fifteenth in both series standings, taking seven points-scoring positions in eight races.

The Brazilian will remain in Formula Renault for 2010, competing in the Eurocup with Cram Competition.

Formula Three

In 2009, Negrão made his debut in Formula Three Sudamericana. He competed in the Piriápolis and São Paulo events with Kemba Racing. In 2010, Negrão took part in the inaugural Formula 3 Brazil Open race for Cesario F3. In the final race he finished second, behind winner William Buller.
